The Dutch Registrars Group (Nederlandse Registrars Groep, NRG) was founded in 2004. Its aim is to create a platform for knowledge and information exchange between registrars, collection managers and other professionals in the cultural sector in the Netherlands and Flanders whose activities include organising loans, insurance and indemnity, art logistics, packing and courier services.
The group strives to combine strengths to be able to provide sound advice to museum management and the government alike on issues of indemnity and national and international standards, for example loan agreements and facility reports.
The NRG also represents Dutch registrars at meetings with foreign registrar organisations. More information concerning these groups can be found below.
Anyone who works in the cultural sector and is engaged with the care and mobility of collections can become a member of the NRG.
